If you follow me on Instagram (which you should 😉 @findnseekfitness), you’ve already heard that, beginning tomorrow, I will be instructing at Sculpt Fitness Studio here in Philadelphia. This studio offers awesome Megaformer classes taught by some of the most knowledgable, personable, and approachable instructors in the city. And this 50 minute workout is no joke – I guarantee you will leave shaking, no matter your current fitness level. I take these classes 3-4 times a week and I’m totally challenged each and every time. The instructors have the freedom to design new and different routines and are always coming up with creative ways to challenge the clients! If you want to try my class for FREE, sign up (click “Book Classes” in the top right corner) for the 11 am class on Thursday February 23 or Tuesday February 28. I promise to give you a great workout (hello obliques!) and I’d love your feedback. Even if you can’t make one of these classes, come and check me out on the regular schedule or try one of the other wonderful instructors.
Some notes for your first class:
(1) We recommend you wear toe socks to get the most out of your workout and feel stable on the machines. However, if you have any type of barre or grip socks those are totally fine. We have socks available in the studio.
(2) You do not need to have taken a Megaformer or reformer class in order to take one of our classes. This low-impact workout is great for all fitness levels (it’s the perfect way to cross train if you are a runner or cyclist). We will explain the machine to you beforehand and offer modifications, challenges, and options throughout class so you that you can work toward your own goals. Plus, SFS focuses on demonstration and body-awareness so that you always know where to be and how to position yourself.
(3) We transition fast but move slow. We switch between exercises quickly but we use that slow and steady pace to really exhaust and sculpt those muscles. You will feel the workout the next day, in the best way possible. I have never been as aware of my obliques as I was the morning after my first class – in the best way possible!
(4) If you can’t make it to one of my free classes (definitely add yourself to the waitlist because they do move for free classes), be sure to take advantage of the new student special – $15 for your first class instead of the usual $30. Plus, after your first class you’ll receive a promo code for additional discounted classes!
Feel free to reach out to me here, on Instagram, or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have questions! See you in the studio!
